Learn how to point to objects and say if something exists or not:
💡 Demonstratives: This / That
Ew = That (far)
Examples:
• Ev pîrtuk e. = This is a book.
• Ew qelem e. = That is a pen.
• Ev çi ye? = What is this?
• Ew çi ye? = What is that?
💡 Existence: "heye" (there is) / "tune" (there isn't)
tune = there isn't / doesn't exist
Examples:
• Pîrtuk heye. = There is a book. / The book exists.
• Qelem tune. = There is no pen. / The pen doesn't exist.
• Li vir pênûs heye? = Is there a pencil here?
• Na, tune. = No, there isn't.
💡 Asking "Do you have...?"
Examples:
• Li te qelem heye? = Do you have a pen?
• Erê, heye. = Yes, I have (it).
• Na, tune. = No, I don't have (it).
• Li te defter heye? = Do you have a notebook?

Translation: In my classroom there are many things. Here there is a table and there is also a chair. On the table there are books, notebooks and pens. Inside my bag there are pencils, erasers and rulers. On the blackboard there are colors. This is my classroom and I am happy!
